Case Report/ Series

Case reports represent the oldest and most familiar form of medical communication. Many original observations are first presented as case reports and case reports function as a great starting point for any academic author.

Review

Traditional clinical review articles, also known as updates or narrative reviews, differ from systematic reviews and meta-analyses. Updates selectively review the medical literature while discussing a topic broadly.

Metanalysis

Meta-analysis is the process of combining study results that can be used to draw conclusions about therapeutic effectiveness or to plan new studies.
